Psa 118:18 YHVH hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.
Psa 118:19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise YHVH: (he refers to entering into the temple to worship on the New Moons, and Sabbath Days.)

2Ch 27:3 He built the high gate of the house of YHVH, and on the wall of Ophel he built much. (gates of righteousness are the gates of His Temple into which if we enter and worship Him on His Correct Appointed Times, He will reveal Himself to us and make us Holy or Righteous)
Exodus 31:13, Ezekiel 20:12, 20 tells us - keeping His Moeds, (going to His Assembly through the gates into His Temple), are a "Sign" between us that He is YHVH Who sanctifies us. And thus are these gates, "gates of righteousness".

Psalms 118:22 Plummet straight line-conjunction-refuse-by the builder-has become-the head-corner. (head is in hebrew "rosh", such as "rosh chodesh" or "New Moon Day" which is in the "Chief" corner of the four quarter-corner shabats in a moon.)

Psa 118:23 This is YHVH'S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.

Psa 118:24 This is the day (New Moon day) which YHVH hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

There are four sabbaths in a moon (four quarter weeks), there are four Hebrew letters in His Holy Name, The Tetragrammaton.

There is "one" new moon day, at conjunction, represented by the letter "vav", see the first letter in Lev. 1:1, which represents the "Son" in the Tetragrammaton, Who paused on the New Moon Day, as The Spirit hovered over the face of the waters, before He, The "only begotten Son" began to create, at the proper time. He is The Chief Cornerstone (as well as the New Moon Day is The Chief Cornerstone of His calendar), the first and the last, the beginning and the end, the "alef & tav", as is the New Moon Day the ending and beginning of time, the conjunction-vav, cutting off the ending of the month and beginning a "New" month. He joins fallen humanity with His Divinity bringing us up into conformity again to The Will of The Most High.

Zec 4:10 For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of YHVH, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

Those who worship Him as Creator in Revelation 14:7, The Three Angels Message, will honor Him by worshipping Him on His Time Schedule, or by His Clock He established in Genesis chapter 1.

He stands, Yehoshua, by the gate of the Holy City and swings it open to His 144,000, who while they were in a perfect square He had placed "Crowns" upon their heads.

The hands of the clock-calendar all point straight up on "New Moon Day" which is the day unit of time on which conjunction occurs.

Conjunction, straight line, like a plummet, plumb-bob makes, when the sun moon and earth are in a straight line. When the moon is "highest", pulled by the suns gravity.

Revelation 22:13 I am Alef and Tav (and all the Hebrew letters in between) the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
He is the beginning and the ending of each month at conjunction, represented by the first letter of Leviticus, which is a "vav" which means also "conjunction", as He rested and paused with The Holy Spirit hovering over the face of "the deep" on the new moon day unit of time, before light was created, on the 2nd day of the moon, the 1st of the six working days.

The letter "Vav" in the Tetragrammaton represents, "The Son" our Saviour, Creator and Redeemer.
The Letter "Vav" is the first letter of Leviticus representing Y'hoshua, Who with the Spirit of Elohim "paused" on the New Moon Day, before the six working days of creation began. It was dark, as even today the conjunctive New Moon Day is dark, as the letter "Vav" also represents "conjunction", the ending and beginning of lunar time, all in one day, The New Moon Day. The last moments before conjunction, and the first moments after conjunction.

John 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
The six working days began with "Let there be Light". Before was a "dark" new moon Sabbath.
Lev 23:24 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.

The "bigger than life" sun, I think is a spinoff of ancient paganism, as is "sun-day" worship, "the venerable day of the sun".
How about a moon 30 miles diameter, and a sun 40 miles diameter maybe, 3,000 and 4,000 miles above the terra firma, circling around the north pole, on a flat circular disk with upturned edges. Yes we are deceived about everything except the specific points of Truth Yehovah has un-deceived us upon.
