It was represented to me that the remnant followed Y'hoshua into the Most Holy place, and beheld the ark, and the mercy-seat, and were captivated with their glory. Y'hoshua raised the cover of the ark, and behold! the tables of stone, with the ten commandments written upon them. They trace down the lively oracles; but they start back with trembling when they see the fourth commandment living among the ten holy precepts, while a brighter light shines upon it than upon the other nine, and a halo of glory is all around it. They find nothing there informing them that the Sabbath has been abolished, or changed to the first day of the week. It reads as when spoken by the mouth of Elohim in solemn and awful grandeur upon the mount, while the lightnings flashed and the thunders rolled, and when written with his own holy finger in the tables of stone. Six days shalt thou labor and do all thy work; but the seventh day is the Sabbath of Y'hovah thy Elohim. They are amazed as they behold the care taken of the ten commandments. They see them placed close by Y'hovah, overshadowed and protected by his holiness. They see that they have been trampling upon the fourth commandment of the  165   decalogue, and have observed a day handed down by the heathen and papists, instead of the day sanctified by Y'hovah. They humble themselves before Elohim, and mourn over their past transgressions.

The Remnant spoken above are Seventh-day Adventist believers, those who are diligently seeking for Truth, and others who are diligent seekers of Truth.

These Remnant already know that Sunday, the first day of the pagan week, is not the Sabbath of Y'hovah, rather the remnant see they have been observing His Divine Appointments according to a false calendation system, erected by the Catholics, centuries before, and thus Saturday bearing the name Satyr (old Chaldee) or Satan (modern form), is the day "and have observed a day handed down by the heathen and papists"

The Bible predicted "Saturday" worship, And is the "Star of your deity"
Amos 5:26
26 But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves.

Possible Definitions:
Chiun = "?"
1) probably a statue of the Assyrian-Babylonian god of the planet Saturn and used to symbolise Israelite apostasy

Acts 7:43
43 Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.   | The idol corresponded probably to Saturn or Molech |

This Remnant 7th day keepers have observed Saturday, a day handed down by the heathen and papists. The 7th day of a pagan week.

When "Y'hoshua raised the cover of the ark, and behold! the tables of stone, with the ten commandments written upon them. They trace down the lively oracles; but they start back with trembling when they see the fourth commandment."

They, of course, start back with "Trembling" when they see on the Tablets of Stone - "Remember The New Moon Day To Keep It Holy" as the first line of The Fourth Command, and realize they have been keeping the wrong 7th day, not calendated by the Moon.

This is why this first line of The Fourth Command was not quoted and left out in the above passage in Early Writings, or Spiritual Gifts.
